The Museum is closed from 27/1/2014
The old museum was destroyed by the earthquakes in 1953 and the new one was built in 1960. It iw now closed for the public, due the earthquake of 2014.
The museum houses antiquities from the island of Kefalonia, ranging from the prehistoric to the Roman periods. It also contains a remarkable collection of Mycenaean finds.

Room III: fir tetrapolis the 5th century BC, consisting of four cities-states, Pali, Krani, Pronnoi and Sami
